Ah, see, one thing I loved about Lord of the Rings is the layers of antagonists. Sauron, who’s capital-E Evil. Saruman who’s overshot his mission. Grima who’s petty and creepy. Gollum who’s somehow loveable. Bill Ferny who’s just annoying. The elves in Lothlorien who don’t want to help a dwarf. Lobelia who steals spoons (and then does something awesome!). If I have a novel where I need an EVIL antagonist, I try to make sure there’s these additional interesting layers of more-human antagonists.
Great ‘cast, as always.
These past two episodes have no download link. Thats how I listen on my android phone. The embedded player is unreliable or missing in my browser. Would you consider adding it? Thx. Love your podcast!
Looking into this. Hopefully have it fixed soon.
